Jasmine Bland Hawthorne, MBA, serves as the Vice President of DEI & HR Marketing at HarbourVest Partners, overseeing initiatives across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to align culture with performance and growth. As the Founder and Principal of The Valley Pearl, Jasmine provides strategic guidance to leaders navigating organizational transitions. With nearly two decades of management experience, Jasmine has held senior roles at American Express, where contributions included co-developing a Social Justice Framework leading to a new business unit, and has extensive involvement in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in various board capacities. Educational credentials include an MBA in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, an Executive Development Program from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a BS in Political Science from South Carolina State University.
