Marthe van Bronkhorst

Marthe van Bronkhorst is a versatile freelance writer and mental health professional with extensive experience in writing, psychology, and education. Currently serving as a columnist for hard // hoofd and working with publishing house De Geus, Marthe also contributes to various media as a writer of columns, poetry, prose, drama, and radio content. In the mental health sector, Marthe has been a practice supporter at Huisartspraktijk Hoofdweg 366 and provided psychological services at MEE NL, focusing on individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Additional roles include teaching creative writing at REDUCATIONS Creative Academy, working as a voice actress for House of Voice, and contributing as a playwright at De Tekstsmederij. Marthe holds a cum laude Research Master’s degree in Neuropsychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has pursued further studies in neurobiology at Harvard University.
