Kajal Mistry

Kajal Mistry has a diverse range of work experience in the publishing industry. Kajal began their career at Sony Music Entertainment as a Junior Digital Analyst in 2008. In 2009, they joined Pearson plc as an Editorial Assistant for Dorling Kindersley. Later that year, they moved to Dorling Kindersley directly as an Editor and held this role until 2012. In the same year, they started working at Hardie Grant Publishing as a Desk Editor, and gradually progressed to roles such as Senior Editor, Commissioning Editor, Senior Commissioning Editor, and Publisher. Currently, they hold the position of Publishing Director at Hardie Grant Publishing from October 2021 onwards.

Kajal Mistry completed their secondary education at The Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls from 1999 to 2005. Kajal then went on to pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Kent from 2005 to 2008. At the university, they obtained a 2:1 BA (Hons) in English and American Literature with Drama.
