Xavier Boreau

Xavier Boreau has had a varied career. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of HarfangLab, a company that has developed an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software to detect and neutralize cyber attacks. From 2009 to 2019, they held the role of External Relations Manager at AREVA Logistics, a nuclear transport organization. From 2003 to 2009, they held multiple roles in the French Navy, including Fleet Operations Manager, Commanding Officer of the survey ship Borda, and Leadership Instructor on the helicopter carrier Jeanne d'Arc. During their time as Commanding Officer, they mapped an unexplored area of 150,000 sq kms off the French coast. As Leadership Instructor, they managed leadership courses for future navy officers and coordinated squadron helicopter assets during a UN operation following the 2005 tsunami in Indonesia.

Xavier Boreau has a diverse educational background. In 2020-2021, they attended the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) where they earned a Session nationale IHEDN-INHESJ in Souveraineté numérique & Cybersécurité. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued an EMBA in Business administration at HEC Paris. Lastly, from 1993 to 1996, they attended the École Navale and earned an MSC in Naval engineering.
