Wayne Gearhart

Wayne Gearhart has a strong background in the insurance industry. Wayne started their career at Westfield in 1995, where they held several roles, including Claims Manager and Regional Claims Operations Executive. In these positions, they were responsible for managing claims operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality claims practices and performance. Wayne also played a key role in implementing Guidewire ClaimCenter and managing special projects related to claims.

In 2019, Gearhart joined Harford Mutual Insurance Group as Assistant Vice President - Claims. Wayne was quickly promoted to Vice President before eventually assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2023. As COO, Gearhart is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company.

Wayne Gearhart completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a major in Finance from The Ohio State University. Wayne pursued further education at CPCU/AIC, where they obtained their CPCU certification between 1997 and 1999.
