Sam Hall is a seasoned Software Engineering Manager with extensive experience at Hargreaves Lansdown since September 2017, holding leadership roles in both Identity & AML and the Alto Enabling Team, as well as serving as a Tech Lead for Advice & Guidance and the API Platform. Sam has been instrumental in guiding teams through HL's transition to cloud-native development and has implemented modern practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. As an API Architect, Sam has overseen API development governance and enhanced the development experience for teams within HL. Additionally, Sam has represented Hargreaves Lansdown in industry organizations, contributing to initiatives like the Technical Working Group for Open Savings, Investments and Pensions at The Investing and Savings Alliance (TISA). Prior to this, Sam gained valuable experience at Ascesis Media and SeaDog IT, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of the West of England.
