Ed Spokes has a strong background in recruitment and analysis in the sports industry. Ed started their career at Harlequin FC in 2003, where they worked as the Head of Analysis until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Recruitment & Analysis, before transitioning to their current role as the Head of Recruitment (Players). Alongside their work at Harlequin FC, they also worked as a Performance Analyst at Rugby Canada from 2015 to 2015. Before entering the sports industry, Ed Spokes worked as a Pensions Clerk at AMP Pearl from 2002 to 2003.

Ed Spokes attended Lord Wandsworth College from 1991 to 1998. Ed then went on to study Sports Science at Nottingham Trent University, where they obtained a BSc degree from 1999 to 2002.
