James Wild

Performance Consultant at Harlequins

James Wild is a seasoned academic and performance consultant with extensive experience in sports and exercise science. Currently, Wild serves as a Lecturer at the University of Surrey, specializing in skill acquisition and applied sport science since August 2014. In addition, Wild has held the role of Performance Consultant at Harlequins since December 2014, focusing on research, innovation, and speed and power. Wild's past positions include Head of Athletic Performance and Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Women’s squad of England Lacrosse, as well as similar roles at Surrey Sports Park and Fulham Football Club. Wild's educational background includes a PhD in Biomechanics and Motor Control from the University of Surrey, an MSc in Strength & Conditioning Science from St Mary's University College, and a BA (Hons) in Exercise & Health and Business from Oxford Brookes University.
