With a playing career that began at Northampton Saints from June 2006 to May 2010, Joe contributed to significant victories, including the Championship Double and the Aviva A League. Following stints at Harlequin FC and Saracens RFC, where notable achievements included winning the Challenge Cup and the Aviva Premiership, Joe has been a key player for Harlequins since June 2020.
