Raj Velmurugan

Raj Velmurugan serves as the Vice President and Global CIO of Harley-Davidson Motor Company since 2021, overseeing all aspects of Digital Information Technology for both the Motor Company and Financial Services organization, with a focus on modernization and building a resilient IT landscape. Prior to this role, Raj held the position of SVP of IT and Chief Information Officer at Salem Five Bank, where a successful cloud transformation strategy was implemented. With a notable tenure at Bose Corporation from 2001 to 2018, Raj advanced through various positions, culminating as Senior Director of Digital IT and Chief IT Architect, responsible for enterprise-wide architecture and digital delivery across multiple platforms. Raj's earlier career includes significant roles as a Senior Consulting Engineer and in various IT-related positions at different companies. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Capella University, a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Datamatics Corporation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Madras.
