Ruben Mireles has extensive experience in human resources, with their latest role being the Human Resources Director at Harlingen Medical Center. In this position, they focused on policy development, compliance with employment law, and recruitment strategies. Prior to this, they served as a Human Resources Manager at the same organization, overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes. Ruben also has volunteer experience, serving as the Chapter President and President Elect at the Lower Valley Chapter of SHRM. Additionally, they have held various roles in human resources at Vitalant, Express Employment Professionals, Keppel AmFELS, and Port Fabricators.

Ruben Mireles holds a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Labor and Employment Law from the Tulane University Law School. Ruben also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. Prior to their college education, Ruben attended Lopez High School, where they completed their high school education from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Ruben has acquired several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Phoenix and completed The National Society of Leadership and Success Training Program. In October 2015, Ruben received certifications in Business Management, Outside Sales, Front Office Coordinator, and Inside Sales from Express Leadership University.
