Liz Beighton is a highly experienced planning professional with a robust background in urban planning and management. Currently serving as Development Manager at Harlow Council since July 2023, Liz previously held the position of Director at Boyer since June 2021 and Planning Manager at East Suffolk Council from July 2009 to June 2021. Prior roles include Planning Associate at Bidwells, Senior Planner at Spawforths, Planner at Leeds City Council, and Planning Officer at both Chelmsford City Council and Essex County Council. Liz holds a Master’s degree in Town Planning from Newcastle University, a PG Diploma in Public Sector Leadership and Management from the University of Birmingham, and a BA in Town Planning Studies from London South Bank University.
