Mohan Kothawade

Mohan Kothawade has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mohan is currently working as a Team-Leader in the Analytical Development Laboratory at Harman Finochem Ltd. In this role, they lead a team of scientists in developing and validating analytical test procedures for various markets. Mohan has also played a crucial role in achieving approvals for ANDA projects and supporting successful bio studies for multiple projects. Additionally, they have developed methods for evaluating nitrosamine risk and identifying bio-relevant dissolution methods. Mohan has also conducted QSAR studies and directed solid-stage characterization using various techniques.

Before joining Harman Finochem Ltd, Mohan worked at Baroque Pharmaceuticals Private Limited as a Sr. Research Scientist. Here, they successfully set up the AR&D lab and renovated the QC laboratory, saving costs and improving method validation.

Prior to that, they worked at Sai Life Sciences Ltd as a Sr. Research Associate in the Analytical Division. Mohan was responsible for method development and validation using various techniques and ensuring compliance with SOPs and instrument qualifications. Notably, they achieved critical separation for related substances, resolving past issues.

Mohan has also worked at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, STERLING Biotech Ltd., Ajanta Pharma Ltd, and Cipla in various research and QC roles.

Mohan Kothawade completed their M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from K.T.H.M. College Nasik between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, they pursued another M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from KRT Arts, BH Commerce and AM Science (KTHM) College, Nashik, the dates of which are unknown. Their academic focus has primarily been on the field of Chemistry.
