David Lyon is an Associate Director of Automotive UX/UI at HARMAN International, where they continue to innovate in vehicle design. With over 22 years of experience, they previously served as Director of Design at both VINFAST LLC and Lordstown Motors, and held multiple executive roles at General Motors, where they significantly contributed to the design of popular vehicle models and led global design teams. David also has a background in education, having instructed aspiring designers at the College for Creative Studies, and has provided design consultancy through Pocketsquare Design. They earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Transportation Design from the College for Creative Studies.
