Elmar Smolin

Elmar Smolin is a seasoned professional in supply chain management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management at HARMAN International since March 2016, Elmar has previously held key positions including Vice President of Global Purchasing, Logistics, and Global Operations at Maxion Wheels and a series of executive roles at Johnson Controls Automotive from 1994 to 2012. Elmar's career began at BMW and Seeber Systemtechnik, focusing on logistics and material management. Elmar holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Logistics from the University of Bamberg, obtained in 1989.
