Maja Taseska

Maja Taseska is a Principal Audio Algorithm Engineer at HARMAN International since December 2023, with a robust background in audio research and engineering. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Research Manager, Senior Researcher, and Associate Researcher at Microsoft from September 2019 to October 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Researcher at KU Leuven from January 2018 to August 2019. Maja's research at International Audio Laboratories involved multi-channel speech enhancement techniques, supporting various applications like teleconferencing and hearing aids. Maja also has experience as a Research Intern at Microsoft, visiting researcher at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and student research assistant positions at Fraunhofer IIS and Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI). Academic qualifications include a PhD in Signal Processing from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Master's degree in Communications and Multimedia Technology from the same institution, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Jacobs University Bremen.
