Michael Hegel

Michael Hegel is an experienced professional in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Product Platform Management at HARMAN International since May 2014, where oversight includes planning and executing product platforms in the Digital Cockpit SBU. Prior to this role, Michael held positions such as Senior Customer Program Manager at HARMAN, managing software development for infotainment systems for Ferrari, Project Manager at Continental Automotive Systems, overseeing safety and security software development, and various roles at Motorola Inc., including Business Development Manager and Program Manager, where responsibilities included leading teams and managing product lines. Earlier career experiences include software engineering roles at Newman Haas Racing and Ford Motor Company. Michael holds an MBA from North Park University and both an MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University.
