Seema Kumar

Seema Kumar, Ph.D., currently serves as Principal Engineer I at HARMAN International since May 2023. Prior roles include Applied Research Scientist at German Edge Cloud, where time series forecasting for predictive autoscaling and attacks on machine learning models were explored. Academic contributions as a Research Assistant and Ph.D. student at Technische Universität Darmstadt focused on program anomaly detection and the application of neural networks for runtime anomaly detection in embedded devices. Other experiences encompass research on IoT malware detection at the Singapore University of Technology and Design and intern positions involving real-time application performance algorithms at the Indian Institute of Science. Seema's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Distributed Software Systems from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering.
