Suriya Piayu

Suriya Piayu has a diverse range of work experience, spanning multiple roles and companies.

They began their career as a Food Engineer at Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF)- Thailand World Headquarter in 2005. In this role, they focused on improving the efficiency of dry products and creating prototypes for wet food.

In 2009, Suriya moved on to Danone Dairy, where they initially worked as a Production Supervisor. Their responsibilities included managing the filling plan, maintaining GMP and safety standards, and setting working standards for operators. They then transitioned to the role of Performance Manager, where they implemented safety standards and a safety culture, revised zoning and work flow in the factory, and implemented Damaway at Danone Thailand. Finally, as a Production Manager, they managed the production plan and budget, increased plant service levels, and improved and maintained product quality.

Next, Suriya joined Bangkok Ranch Public Company Limited in 2016. They first served as a Performance Manager, where they revised the product cost structure with the costing team, set standards for each product yield, and led project cost savings in the production area. Later, as a Production Manager, they managed the production plan and budget, reduced machine downtime, and extended the production line to increase capacity.

Most recently, Suriya started working at Harmless Harvest in 2023 as an Operations Manager. Further details regarding their roles and responsibilities in this position have not been provided.

Suriya Piayu obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Food Engineering from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in 2004. Later, in 2016, they completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. Suriya's additional certifications include Allergen training, FSSC 2200 from SGS, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 from SGS, and Safety for Management.
