MingHsuan Lee

MingHsuan Lee has a diverse work experience across various industries. Starting in 2014, they worked as an IT Teacher at Tasman International Academies and later as a Drum Tutor at Mission Kids. In 2015, they joined BNZ as a Business Intelligence Specialist, responsible for reporting and BI software development. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Data Scientist at Harmoney Ltd, where they worked until 2020. During this period, they also had a brief stint as an Intern of Development at Unleashed Software. MingHsuan then joined the NZ Evidence-Based Policing Centre in 2020, initially as a Data Scientist and later as an Acting Data Science Manager. In 2022, they returned to Harmoney, this time as a Senior Data Scientist. Alongside their professional career, MingHsuan also pursued their passion for music, serving as the Principal Timpanist for the Manukau Symphony Orchestra from 2013 to 2020.

MingHsuan Lee obtained a Master's Degree in Spatial Analysis for Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, which they pursued from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their master's degree, they completed a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in IT Service Science at the Auckland University of Technology from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, MingHsuan Lee has obtained several certifications, including DataRobot Essentials Certification, DataRobot Time Series Modeling Certification, Importing Data in Python (Part 1) Course, Importing Data in Python (Part 2) Course, Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1) Course, Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 2) Course, Intermediate Python for Data Science, Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1) Course, and SAS Platform Administration: Fast Track. The certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2019 from various institutions such as DataRobot, DataCamp, and SAS.
