Andrew Cathie

Andrew Cathie has a wealth of experience in the data science field, starting as a SAS Consultant at BT Ignite in 2001. Andrew then progressed to roles such as Manager Credit Analysis at Pacific Retail Finance and Senior Consultant at Descisys. Andrew later became the Head of Data Science at Harmoney Ltd, where they played a key role in establishing the company as the largest online personal lending platform in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, they held roles at SAS, Acuitas Ltd, Deloitte, Flexirent, Business Intelligence Group Ltd, Salford Systems, and Harmoney Ltd, showcasing their expertise in data analytics, data warehouse development, business intelligence, and data mining.

Andrew Cathie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Operations Research from Victoria University of Wellington, which they obtained from 1979 to 1983. Andrew later pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics at Swinburne University of Technology from 2012 to 2014.
