Ben Goosen

Ben Goosen has extensive work experience in finance and risk management. Ben is currently serving as the Head of SOX Compliance at Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited since 2021. Before that, they worked at Sasol for almost a decade, holding various roles including Head of SOX, Financial Control Services, and Auditor. At Sasol, they were responsible for managing the company's finance risk and governance department, overseeing the SOX compliance program, and engaging with internal and external auditors. Prior to Sasol, Ben worked as a Fraud and Risk Manager at Premier Foods (Pty) Ltd, where they built organizational capacity, performed process analysis, and managed risks. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Corporate International Tax Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers Inc. and as an Article Clerk at Equifin Incorporated and RAS ACCOUNTANTS LIMITED.
