Brad Powell

Brad Powell has extensive work experience in the field of investigations, compliance, and security. Brad currently holds the position of Head of Integrity Compliance and Investigations at Harness Racing Victoria since November 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Investigations & Compliance Manager at the same organization from January 2022 to October 2023. Before joining Harness Racing Victoria, Brad worked for Linfox as the Manager of Security Aust/NZ from July 2019 to November 2020, and as the Security & Asset Protection Aust/NZ from February 2018 to July 2019. Brad also served as the Principal Investigator at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources from June 2016 to February 2018. Brad began their career in law enforcement, working for Victoria Police from 2001. Brad held various roles, including Police Sergeant from March 2015 to May 2016, Detective Senior Constable from January 2012 to March 2015, and Senior Constable from October 2007 to February 2009.

Brad Powell is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Sport Integrity at Victoria University, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Prior to this, they completed the Sergeants Qualifying Program in Personnel Management at Victoria Police. Brad also obtained a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance (TOP SECRET) and an Advanced Diploma of Public Safety (Police Investigation), both from Victoria Police. Additionally, Brad completed the Field Investigation Course and a Diploma of Public Safety (Policing), specializing in General Policing, also through Victoria Police.
