Zachery Jones

Zachery Jones is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Tesla since September 2024. Previously, Zachery was a Charter Member of TechGC from May 2022 to August 2024, an exclusive community for General Counsel. Zachery's prior roles at Tesla include General Counsel (Tax), Managing Counsel, and Senior Counsel, providing expertise in tax-related matters from February 2017 to March 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Tax Counsel at SolarCity and as a Tax Attorney at Fenwick and West. Zachery began a career as a Tax Accountant at Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a JD in Law from the University of California, Los Angeles, and advanced degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Washington.
