Laura Woods

Laura Woods is a Bioinformatician at Harness Therapeutics, specializing in bioinformatics and biological data analysis since February 2025. Previously, Laura served as a Computational Biologist at CS Genetics, focusing on R programming and CI/CD practices from May 2024 to January 2025. Laura's extensive experience includes managing bioinformatics at the University of Cambridge from January 2019 to May 2024, where skills in R programming and transcriptomics were developed. Earlier roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate and PHD Student at the University of Cambridge and The Babraham Institute, respectively, with a focus on R programming and transcriptomics. Laura holds a Master of Science in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from Durham University.
