Andrew Spangler

Andrew Spangler has extensive work experience in the field of security and compliance. Andrew is currently a Senior Director and Head of Security & Compliance at Harness, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director and Head of Security & Compliance at Harness from April 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Harness, Andrew worked at Datadog as a Team Lead for Information Security and Compliance from November 2017 to April 2021. Andrew also held positions at NCC Group as a Senior Security Consultant from June 2017 to November 2017 and as a Security Consultant from October 2016 to June 2017.

Prior to their time at NCC Group, Andrew worked as a Senior Security Analyst at Puget Sound Energy from May 2013 to October 2016. Andrew also gained experience as a Security Consultant at Rapid7 from December 2011 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as a Systems Administrator at Janicki Industries from March 2010 to December 2011 and as an Education Technology Specialist at Mount Vernon School District from August 2009 to March 2010.

Andrew Spangler pursued a Certificate in the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Program at NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2022.
