Tran Nguyen

Tran Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a private violin and piano instructor and as a music theory and ear training tutor, showcasing their passion for music. In 2006, they joined Apple as a Web Producer II specializing in classical music content for the iTunes store. They managed and curated music content and collaborated with label representatives to prepare content for the iTunes store until 2011. In 2014, Tran Nguyen worked for both Manilla.com and Autodesk. At Manilla.com, they served as a UX/UI Designer and designed features for iOS, Android, and web platforms. At Autodesk, they held the position of Senior Experience Designer for the AutoCAD Platform. They collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop features, facilitated brainstorming sessions, and conducted competitive audits. From 2020 to 2021, Tran Nguyen worked as a substitute teacher at Saigon South International School. In 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Galumpher, where they built a backend using Express and Node.js for a health metrics app. Currently, they hold the position of Senior UX Designer at Harness.

Tran Nguyen obtained a Bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University in an unspecified field of study in 2006. They then pursued further education at RMIT University, where they studied Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Discipline and completed their studies in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Tran Nguyen also obtained various certifications. In 2015 and 2016, they earned several AutoCAD certifications from CAD Masters, Inc., including AutoCAD I, II, and III, as well as AutoCAD 3D. They also completed certifications in topics such as Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes and Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Google through Coursera. Tran Nguyen also holds a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI and a Practitioner Certification from LUMA Institute.
