Alli Thresher has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Alli is currently the Director of Digital Content for PJ Library at the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, where they manage a social media team, produces content for various platforms, and oversees a network of Jewish podcasts for kids. Alli has also developed an agile digital strategy to support families and partner organizations during the pandemic.

In 2017, Alli served as the Director and Producer of Storytime With Drag Kings, Queens, and Friends, a gender-inclusive storytime and singalong event for children and caregivers. Alli also worked as an educator and consultant, focusing on security and safety plans in libraries, GSAs, and religious organizations.

Prior to their current role, Alli worked as the Digital Content Lead at PJ Library, where they were responsible for social media advertising, content production, and digital audio and video asset production. Alli was also involved in executive producing a podcast for kids.

Alli's previous experiences include working as a Social Media Manager at the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a Designer/Writer at Harmonix Music Systems, and a Guest Contributor at Think Progress. Alli has also worked as a Freelance Writer for xoJane.com and as a Researcher at Forrester Research. In addition, Alli has contributed articles to Cultural Survival.

Throughout their career, Alli has demonstrated their expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, content production, and writing.

Alli Thresher completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at Providence College from 2000 to 2004. In 2002 to 2003, they also served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford's Blackfriars Hall, studying Literature, Philosophy, and Theology. Alli then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at the University of Chicago in 2004 to 2005, specializing in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Alli also obtained additional certifications from LinkedIn, including "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues," "Data Storytelling Basics," and "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" in February 2023.
