Lauren Walker

Lauren Walker has extensive experience in financial aid and operations management within the higher education sector. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Harper College since October 2018, Lauren oversees the daily operations of student financial assistance, supporting over 11,000 recipients while ensuring regulatory compliance. Previously, Lauren held the position of Director of Financial Aid at Kendall College from July 2009 to September 2018, where leadership led to successful compliance audits and a decrease in default rates. Additional roles include Student Life Coordinator at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, Instructor at Triton College, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lauren holds an M.A. in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication and a B.A. in Speech Communication & Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
