Bakari Sellers

Bakari Sellers serves as a Board Member at Gamestar+ since January 2021 and has been a Book Author for HarperCollins Publishers and My Vanishing Country since April 2020, working on multiple new titles. With a legal career spanning over 16 years, Sellers has been an Attorney at Law at Strom Law Firm, L.L.C. since June 2007. Additionally, Sellers is a Political Commentator for CNN since 2015 and previously held roles as a Democratic Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina and a District Representative in the South Carolina House of Representatives, serving four consecutive terms from 2006 to 2014. Sellers has also contributed to the Democratic Leadership Council as a Clinton Fellow and was part of the South Carolina Steering Committee for Obama for America. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from Morehouse College.
