Helen Sweeney

Helen Sweeney is a Sales Support Coordinator at HarperCollins Publishers, where responsibilities include providing sales support for key accounts in both Adult and Children's Divisions. Prior to this role, Helen worked as a Book Seller at Barnes & Noble, Inc., and gained experience as a Dramaturg in the CC Theatre Department, where thematic and literary research was conducted for a theater production. An internship with Mawjoudin We Exist focused on LGBTQ+ rights, including tasks such as reviewing translations and assisting with grant applications. During a fellowship with the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control and Greenway District, community outreach and event organization were central duties. Helen also served as a Team Leader/Ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association®, where advocacy efforts included engaging with legislative representatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Colorado College, and a certification in Book Publishing from Columbia University.
