Katherine Jacobs

Katherine Jacobs is an experienced Senior Acquisitions Editor at HarperCollins Publishers, leading a team to manage 25-30 book acquisitions annually for Zonderkidz, with notable projects including the #1 New York Times bestseller YOU CAN BE A GOOD FRIEND (NO MATTER WHAT) by Taraji P. Prior to this role, Katherine operated Katherine Jacobs Edits, providing editorial and consulting services for clients such as Epic! and Storyteller Academy. With over a decade at Macmillan as a Senior Editor, Katherine acquired and edited award-winning children's books at Roaring Brook Press. Experience also includes teaching writing courses for children at McDaniel College and establishing a library at the International School Tegucigalpa. Katherine holds an MA in Children's Literature from Simmons University and a BA in English from Calvin University.
