Dominic Holt has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Dominic began their career in 2013 as a Practioners Board Marketing Committee Advisor and a PDC Board Member for the Association for Computing Machinery. In 2016, they became an Advisor for REDDS Capital. In 2017, they founded and served as CEO of Harpoon Corp. In 2018, they founded and served as CEO of Valerian Technology, where they also served as a Fractional CTO to multiple companies, venture capital, and private equity firms. In 2019, they became a Fractional CTO for Corridor Capital. In 2020, they became a Fractional CTO for NOTICENINJA and also served as VP Engineering and a key technical and business strategy advisor for Omni Federal, helping the company grow from $6M to $60M in revenue in two years. In 2022, they became an Advisor for Docker, Inc. and a Fractional CTO for both Metronome LLC and Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation.

Dominic Holt obtained a BS in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2009. Dominic also holds seven certifications, including Kubernetes: Microservices from LinkedIn (obtained in May 2019), Deep Learning by Google from Udacity (obtained in March 2017), Amazon Web Services Developer Fundamentals from Pluralsight (obtained in April 2014), Experimental Cyber Immersion Training & Exercises (EXCITE) from Lockheed Martin (obtained in December 2013), Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship from University of Maryland College Park, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach from University of Washington, and New Venture Finance: Startup Funding for Entrepreneurs from University of Maryland College Park.
