Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chris is currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer at District Photo Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Harrier LLC. Chris has also worked at Newsquest North West Limited as the Regional Managing Director, where they were responsible for the operational and financial performance of the North West region. Before that, they were the Managing Director at Guardian Series Newspapers Limited, leading a team of 280 employees. Chris has also served as the Regional Finance Director at Newsquest Cheshire Limited and held various roles at Trinity Mirror Group PLC, including Group Distribution and Circulation Director and Finance Director. Chris started their career as a Management Accountant at Pilkington. Overall, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has experience in strategy development, corporate governance, and delivering revenue objectives.

Chris Hughes attended Blessed Edward Jones High School in Rhyl from 1978 to 1985. After completing high school, they enrolled in Manchester Metropolitan University from 1985 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Business Accounting & Finance with a focus on Accountancy. In September 1992, Chris obtained the certification of Associate Member from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
