Hilary C. Guthrie

Hilary is chief business development officer at Harris Beach where she is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the firm’s strategic business plans as well as business development, marketing initiatives, and the firm’s subsidiaries for non legal consulting services. She leads a full-service marketing communications team that provides the firm’s 200 lawyers and their clients with a full range of marketing, communications and business development support.

Through the firm’s subsidiary, HB Solutions, Hilary and the communications team provide clients brand positioning, communications plans, public and media relations, marketing tactics, and overall communications management vital to their organizational success. She and her team also deliver integrated communications support during controversial or crisis situations that involve extensive community relations and outreach, including preparing for town meetings, planning boards, and other public forums.
