Thomas S. Abbott

Tom is chief financial officer at Harris Beach directing all of the financial operations throughout the firm. He works with the firm’s Management Committee to advance the firm’s strategic goals and growth initiatives.

Tom oversees the firm’s financial functions in the areas of accounting, billing, collecting, budgeting and analysis. He also directs the many financing relationships that the firm has with financial institutions. Tom also provides financial support and direction in merging other firms and attorneys with Harris Beach.

Tom has more than 30 years of professional financial and management experience. Prior to joining Harris Beach, he served for 10 years as the controller of another prominent law firm based in Rochester, New York and five years in public accounting prior to that. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
