Julie Vu

Julie Vu, MBA, currently serves as the Recruitment Manager at the Harris County Department of Education since April 2024. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Manager of Talent Operations at KIPP Texas Public Schools from August 2023 to April 2024. Julie's experience at YES Prep Public Schools spanned over four years, where responsibilities included Program Manager and Certification Coordinator, focusing on teacher certification pathways and retention strategies. Julie also performed as a Selection Coordinator, managing recruitment processes and building relationships with key stakeholders. Earlier experience includes an internship in Human Resources at NYU Langone Health. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science from St. John's University and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
