Courtney Fischer is a seasoned communications professional with a wealth of experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as the Chief of Communications at the Harris County District Attorney's Office since January 2025, Courtney previously worked as a News Reporter for ABC13 Houston from August 2015 to December 2024. Prior reporting roles include positions at WTAE-TV Hearst Pittsburgh (2013-2015), WLEX-TV (2010-2013), and Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW (2007-2010). Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Art History from DePauw University, earned in 2007.
