Bethany Nixon has a diverse work experience. From 2013, they worked at the Harris Federation, where they held various roles including Head of Academy, NPQML/SL Facilitator, Vice Principal, and Acting Head of Academy. Bethany also served as an ITT Student Managing Mentor, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Assessment Lead, Assistant Principal, Staff Governor, Mathematics Lead, Year 6 Teacher, ITT Student Mentor, and CPD Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Primary School Teacher (Year 2, Year 5) at Teach First. In 2018, they joined the National College for Teaching & Leadership as an SLE (Specialist Leader of Education).
Bethany Nixon has a solid education history in the field of education. In 2008, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from The University of Sheffield. Moving forward to 2013, they pursued their Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. In 2017, they enrolled at the National College for Teaching & Leadership and completed their degree in Education, specifically in NPQSL, in 2018. Their educational journey continued as they joined the National College of Teaching & Leadership in 2021, where they obtained their NPQH degree in Education.
