Catherine Borthwick

Catherine Borthwick is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Catherine started their career at ECA International in 2010, where they held various roles including Research Analyst (Remuneration), Research Analyst (Cost of Living), and Survey Analyst. In 2014, they joined the Harris Federation and worked as a Teacher of Science until 2017. Catherine then took on the position of Teacher i/c ks3 science until 2018, when they became the Head of Science. Currently, Catherine is the Director of Science at Harris Federation, a role they have held since August 2020.

Catherine Borthwick obtained their MEng degree in Chemical Engineering with Environmental Technology from The University of Manchester, completing their studies between 2006 and 2010. In 2013, they pursued further education at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, receiving a PGCE in Secondary Chemistry in 2014.
