David Michael Shanks

David Michael Shanks is an experienced education professional specializing in modern foreign languages (MFL). Currently serving as a Senior Lead Consultant and Languages Consultant at Harris Federation since June 2015, David also contributes as a Lead MFL Consultant and a Guest Blogger for Oxford University Press. Additionally, David has held roles as a GCSE French Examiner for AQA and a Subject Specialist at the National Centre for Excellence for Language Pedagogy. With a background that includes teaching positions and leadership in initial teacher training at Rivers Academy West London and Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, David has also been an Associate Tutor for Teach First.
