Leanne Simmonds McCt

Leanne Simmonds MCCT is a Languages Consultant at Harris Federation, a position held since September 2020. Prior to this role, Leanne served as the Lead Practitioner and Subject Co-ordinator for Modern Foreign Languages at Harris Invictus Academy Croydon from August 2019 to August 2020. Leanne's extensive experience includes positions as an Independent Consultant Educator from April 2018 to July 2019 and as an Assistant Principal at Evelyn Grace Academy from September 2015 to April 2018, where responsibilities encompassed pastoral care, attendance, director roles, teaching, mentoring, and line management. Additional roles include Director of Learning and various teaching and consultancy positions in Modern Languages at several educational institutions. Leanne is also a committed committee member of the Association for Language Learning, having organized events and contributed to educational discourse. Educational qualifications include a PGCE in Secondary MFL from the Institute of Education, University of London, and a BA (HONS) in Modern Languages and Literature from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
