Salman Khan

Salman Khan, MBA, currently serves as the VP and CISO at Harris Health since September 2025, bringing extensive experience in information security from previous roles such as Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Director of Information Security at MRC Global from November 2022 to October 2025. Prior to that, Salman was the IT Security Manager at UTHealth Houston, overseeing the security and stability of IT systems from April 2016 to November 2022. An earlier career at Enbridge Energy included positions as IT Audit Manager, Senior Internal Auditor, IT Senior Business Analyst, and IT Project Manager, where Salman led significant IT initiatives and audit programs. Beginning a career in 1999 with roles in systems analysis and project management across companies including iHeartMedia and ConocoPhillips, Salman holds an MBA in Finance from Tulane University and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.
