Marissa Verdi

Marissa Verdi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marissa is currently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Harris Seeds, Garden Trends, Inc., a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at Meristem Solutions, LLC., Garden Trends Inc. starting in May 2020.

Marissa also has experience in B2C channel management and was a Manager in Training at Harris Seeds, Garden Trends, Inc. from January 2017 to May 2020.

Before working in the industry, Marissa gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Georgia between July 2015 and December 2016.

Marissa began their career as an Office Clerk at Canisius College in August 2011, where they also held the roles of New Student Orientation Leader and New Student Orientation Assistant from August 2012 to May 2015.

Marissa Verdi pursued their higher education starting in 2011 at Canisius University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies. Later on, in 2015, they enrolled in The University of Georgia to pursue a Master of Plant Protection and Pest Management degree with a specialization in Entomology.
