Richard Banahan

Richard Banahan is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Senior Instructor at Behavior Health Response since July 2023. Richard has held various leadership roles, including Director at Harris-Stowe State University since February 2021 and Deputy Commander of St. Louis County Parks from May 2018 to January 2021. Richard's extensive background in law enforcement includes 23 years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, where Richard retired as a Sergeant. Additionally, Richard is involved in community service as Vice-President of DO THE RIGHT THING and has presided over the St. Louis High School Referee Association. Richard's educational background includes an MBA in Marketing and Management from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Maryville University of Saint Louis, along with a focus on Criminal Justice education from the University of Phoenix.
