Christine Altermatt

Christine Altermatt, CFA, currently serves as a Senior International Research Associate at Harris Associates since October 2022. Prior to this role, Christine held the position of Vice President at Advisory Research Investment Management from October 2012 to October 2022, starting as an Associate. Additionally, Christine was a Founding 2nd Grade Teacher at New Paradigm for Education, contributing to the turnaround of Detroit's academically failing schools under the Renaissance 2012 initiative. Christine's teaching experience includes being a Corps Member with Teach for America, where selection occurred from a competitive pool of candidates. Earlier, Christine worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, supporting a project on the European scientific community during the French Revolution, and served as a summer school teacher at St. Hope Leadership Academy in Harlem. Christine earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and History from the University of Michigan in 2011.
