Amy Withrow is a Professor of English at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College since January 2004, where responsibilities include designing and instructing online courses in introductory and advanced composition, literature, and classical mythology. Withrow has also served as Associate Provost of Virtual Learning, making strategic decisions to enhance the growth of the Virtual Learning unit. Previous experience includes owning and operating Our World Enterprises, LLC, focusing on real estate investment, and holding adjunct faculty positions at The University of Findlay and Brown Mackie College, where various composition and developmental writing courses were taught. With a Master of Fine Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from The University of Findlay, Withrow is proficient in several learning management systems, including Blackboard and Desire2Learn.

Harrisburg Area Community College-Harrisburg is the first and largest of Pennsylvania’s 15 community colleges. HACC offers approximately 100 careers and transfer associate degree, certificate, and diploma programs to approximately 17,000 students. Also, the College serves students at its Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York campuses; through virtual learning; and workforce development, and continuing education training.
