Substitute Violin And Viola at Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra

Yumi Oshima is a highly accomplished violist and violinist with extensive experience in various orchestras and music ensembles. Oshima has been serving as a Substitute Violin and Viola for the American Ballet Theatre and Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra since May 2019. Other notable positions include Violist for Trinity Novus NY, Section Viola for Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and Assistant Principal Viola for Symphony in C. Oshima's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced music qualifications from renowned institutions such as The Juilliard School and Rutgers University. Currently, Oshima is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Viola Performance at Rutgers University.
