Gareth Taylor

Gareth Taylor is a seasoned Cyber Security professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles within IT and cyber security. Currently serving as Cyber Security Manager at HCR Law since January 2024, Gareth previously held the position of Senior Cyber Analyst at Wesleyan from June 2019 to January 2024. Prior to that, Gareth worked at Tarmac from 2013 to June 2019 as a Senior Technical Analyst and Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security, where responsibilities included leading teams to maintain Data Centre services and ensuring system availability. Gareth's earlier experience includes significant roles at RWE, EDS Group, and Midlands Electricity, with a focus on server administration and disaster recovery processes. Gareth holds a GNVQ Level 4 BTEC in Information Technology, Computer Technology and Programming from Halesowen College, earned between 1996 and 1998.
