Donald Ness

Donald Ness, AIA, NCARB has a diverse and extensive work experience across various architectural firms. Donald began their career in 1987 as an Architect at BNIM Architects, where they worked until 1989. Donald then joined Marshall Waters Woody, Architecture/Planning as a Project Architect from 1989 to 1994. After that, they established their own firm, Ness Design Group Architects, where they served as President and Principal Architect from 1994 to 2014.

In 2016, Donald joined Stantec as a Project Director, leading various projects until 2021. Donald then worked as a Senior Project Manager at Pfluger Architects from April 2021 to October 2021. Following this, they joined LEO A DALY as a Senior Project Manager from October 2021 to June 2022.

Currently, Donald is employed at HFA, where they hold two positions. Donald began as a Senior Architect in July 2022 and later took on the role of Healthcare Project Director/Senior Architect in April 2023.

Donald Ness, AIA, NCARB holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from the University of Arkansas. Donald is also a Registered Architect in the states of Texas, Illinois, and Missouri. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Mindsets and Strategies for Negotiation Success from LinkedIn.
